PROJECT ACTIVITIES:
A. Awareness Raising and Sensitization
1. Childβs Rights Advocates (CRA): Orientation and Legal Literacy Training, Childrenβ Rights Advocacy, Regular meetings of CRAs.
2. Community Watch Group (CWG): Orientation and Legal Literacy Training OF CWGs.
3. Paralegal Training of community and youth.
4.Advocacy Activities: Fora, Awareness Raising, Radio Program of CRA, and Para sa Kabataan (PSK)
5. Non-Violent Communication Training.
B. Access to Protection, Justice and Reintegration Services for victims of trafficking
1. Legal Assistance Preparation of affidavits for Case filing, Handling of Cases β attending hearings and preparation of pleadings, Case Conference with the Lawyers & Prosecutors
2. Psycho-social: Psycho therapy sessions, Home visits, and Family case conferences.
C. Strengthening of Institutions Responsible for child protection
1. Ordinances -Lobbying with the Municipal/Barangay Councils for the passage of ATIP. Ordinance Write shop for drafting of ATIP Ordinance.
2. BCAT/LCAT VAWC- Orientation/Reorientation training on ATIP Attendance in BCAT/LCAT VAWC/IACAT 7 and other government mandated council meetings.
3. Personal Safety Lessons (PSL): Training of teachers on Personal Safety Lessons, Regular monitoring meetings of PSL Teachers, Training of Trainers for PSL.
D. Strengthening and Networking of Civil Society Actors
1. Sustainability Planning for Child Rights Advocates and Community Watch Group.
2. Cebu Against Child Sex Tourism (CAST) β Regular meetings CAST Annual Conference.
3. Cebu Childrenβs NGO Network (CNN)- conduct Regular meetings.
