Strengthening Community Protection to Eliminate Child Labor in Visayas

Strengthening Community Bases Systems to Eliminate the Worst Forms of Child Labor in the Visayas (Negros Oriental)

(February 2023 – December 2025)

The Terre des Hommes network works to protect children and uphold their rights. Together with children, young people, families and communities, we fight against poverty, violence and exploitation. We believe in the power of collaboration—engaging parents, caregivers, policy makers and partners to create lasting change. Through 704 dedicated projects in 62 countries around the world, we strive to ensure every child can grow up in safety and with dignity, and that their voices are heard in decisions that affect their lives.

Our work focuses on promoting children’s rights by enabling child and youth participation, protecting children against violence and exploitation including forced child labour and by ensuring online safety, fulfilling children’s right to a healthy and sustainable environment and championing children on the move.

We mobilize to

  • involve all relevant actors, from local to global, in the solutions we seek
  • engage partners, expertise and resources in creating environments in which children thrive
